Beck's Crown Bakery

In 1969, Beck's Crown Bakery first opened its doors located downtown in Crown Point's historical square to owner's Frank and Tina Beck.Throughout the many decades Frank and Tina never stopped baking. They even hit the road with the Sweet Tooth Express and serviced many of North West Indiana's festivals, fairs, farmer's markets and many other expositions.

By 1994, good quality bakeries with fresh made products were hard to find and Frank and Tina were flooded with people asking them to re-open a local bakery. In the fall of 1995, Beck's Crown Bakery once again re-opened its doors. This time about 1 mile north of the square in The Pointe strip mall. In June of 2008, daughter and son-in-law, Nadine and Craig Streicher, bought the bakery from Frank and Tina.
